How many hours of community service do you need to get into college? How many hours of community service do you need to get in to college? The areas may vary, but eh. I didn't join any clubs or have any classes that does community service so I'm planning to do it next year(talking about in highschool right now). I just need a base line for the hours so yeah, thanks.
I live in CA, and yes I believe it does matter since everyone has different responses o.o.

Re: How many hours of community service do you need for college? You don't need any actually. It's just recommended hours. I think it's 100 or 200 hours of recommended community service. I know some schools make it mandatory and for IB it is mandatory.

Here in Canada our colleges are basically the same as USA's Community Colleges. So they do not require much community service.
