yeah so i recieved a $40 check and was wondering how do I cash it?

It's says Bank of America on the middle of the check and was wondering can I cash it at another bank like td bank, hsbc etc?

If you don't have accounts with the "other" banks, they generally refuse it or charge you a fee.
You should just take it to bank of america and get your money, easiest thing you can do.

I actually have accounts in the other banks and don't have an account in bank of america. lol

You can cash a check as long as your name is on the check, regardless of ones age. Bank of America, will charge about a $2-$5 fee for cashing it as you don't have a bank account with them.

Take it to whatever bank you have an account at and deposit it. Or if you know of a check cashing place that cashes personal checks take it there. There will charge you like 1-3% which is nothing lol.

Yes just bring the check and a photo id and your bank account info if needed. You shouldn't need a parent with you.

Just FYI most check cashing places will NOT cash personal checks. Only the shady ones do lol. Take it to your bank with you bank info and deposit it/cash it.

Typically, the ideal place would be from the same bank. While you can cash it at other banks, it's usually easier to validate the authenticity at the bank that it was written at.

However, in this case you should be able to cash it at your bank, as the deposit is quite low. Although, this is also a mere guess as I've never heard of that bank, so I'm merely going off of Wells Fargos Standards.

How do you cash a check?

Walk up to the teller of the bank with your check. Tell them you want to cash it. Your done.
