These rules govern this site. Upon entering this site, one falls under the category of a "Gamekiller Member" and is required to follow all of these rules. If after reading these terms, one finds anything disagreeable, the member must cease use of this site immediately. All information and files posted on Gamekiller.net are for EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY and we assume no liability nor ownership for any consequences regarding misuse of any of our services. In addition to this, ignorance of the rules is absolutely no excuse for breaking them. We recommend that each user take the time to read the rules and also suggest that they print out a copy for their personal reference.

Gamekiller.net and does not take any sort of liability for any content made or posted by its users. Each piece of content posted (a "post") is considered the intellectual property of the person who posted such content. Gamekiller.net does not own anything posted by its users.
Upon registration at this site, you agree that you shall not violate these rules. In the case that such agreement is broken, you shall accept the sentence

1. CHANGES TO THIS AGREEMENT

While we try as hard as humanly possible, Gamekiller.net reserves the right to make any change to these terms at any point in time without any notice.

2. USER ELIGIBILITY

2.2 No user that is currently employed, working for, or in any way affiliated with NEXON America Inc. and NEXON Corporation, NHN Corporation, OGPlanet, Neowiz, or any affiliated companies, may enter this website and we politely ask that you immediately close the browser window in which you're viewing this web page.

3. REGISTRATION

3.1 Any person upon opening this website, regardless of their registration status, falls under the Gamekiller rules and guidelines.

3.2 All registration information must be accurate.

3.3 Upon registering, the user acknowledges that Gamekiller.net has the right to use your information in any way it sees fit.

4. Refunds
No refunds will be given to those who purchase our premium memberships; unless fraud or discrepancies are found. Discrepancies as in the premium user not being able to use designated sections or any of the contents inside them.

5. USER CONDUCT


Rules

1. No Flaming
One shall not flame anywhere on the website.

Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: 5 day temporary ban

2. Racism
One shall not discriminate against races or religions without factual allegations.
Minimum sentence: Infraction
Maximum sentence: 5 day temporary ban.

3. No Spamming
One shall not post irrelevant or meaningless remarks in any thread.
Exception: Spamzilla
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

4. No Multiple Accounts
One shall not have or use more than one account on Gamekiller.net without permission from an Admin.
Minimum sentence: Infraction on the most used account and permanent ban on the other accounts
Maximum sentence: 5 day temporary ban on the most used account and permanent ban on the other accounts
Exception: Your most used account has been permanently banned. In this case, punishment will be staff's decision.

5. Giving Credit
One shall not present or claim someone else's work as their own. One may post such material and use it, integrating it with their own work if they give credits by posting the creators name.
Minimum sentence: Infraction
Maximum sentence: Permanent ban

6. No Warez
One shall not link or upload illegal material without permission from an Admin.
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

7. Usernames
One shall not make similar names to any staff member.
Minimum sentence: Infraction
Maximum sentence: Permanent and IP ban.

8. No Scamming
One shall not perform fraudulent or deceptive acts when trading goods or services on Gamekiller.net.
Sentence: Staff Decision

9. No Begging
One shall not repetitively ask for goods or services.
Exception: Spamzilla
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

10. Stuck threads and announcements
One shall read and comply to the stuck rules and announcements found in each section.
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

11. Thanks
One shall not excessively use the thanks button or bribe for thanks.
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

12. Advertising
One shall not advertise a website to gain anything for themselves. One shall not advertise a forum, this includes but is not limited to linking to another forum or posting another forum's name.
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

13. Inappropriate material
One shall not link anywhere or post inappropriate material such as pornography on Gamekiller.net.
Exception: Private messages with the receiver's consent.
Minimum sentence: Infraction
Maximum sentence: 5 day temporary ban

14. Trolling
One shall not create drama amongst the forum's members in a provocative manner.
Exception: Spamzilla
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

15. Disrespecting Staff
One shall not disrespect, dispute, or object any of the Staff's decisions and actions carried out when moderating.
Exception: Dispute Section+Stickied Staff Critique Thread (Rule#1 still applies to these areas!)
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

16. User Bars
One shall not use a user bar that they haven't earned as an avatar, signature or profile picture.
Minimum sentence: Warning
Maximum sentence: Infraction

17. Responsibility over actions
One is responsible for the actions committed via their Gamekiller.net account and one's IM account. Being hacked is no excuse for what happens via your account.

18. Bumping old threads
One shall not post in threads where the last post is more than thirty days old. One can bump a thread if it's explained why they've bumped it, or if the reply contributes to the thread (UNLESS the last post is more than thirty days old).
30 Day Exception: Spamzilla, Stuck threads

Maximum sentence: Infraction

19. Mini-Moderating
A non-moderator shall not post about anything needing to be moderated, unless one has a reply relevant to the thread in the same post. You shall use the report button to report something in need of moderating.

20. Privacy
One shall not release a person's information that is private on Gamekiller without their consent.
Sentence: Staff Decision

7- I.P. Address suspension
Other: Despite the fact that we would like to be able to say that all punishments are outlined in black and white, we take everything on a case by case basis. The administration reserves the right to take each case as they may see fit.

*Recidivism of the rules being broken may result in a permanent IP suspension, if seen fit by an administrator. Moderators picking on a member with infractions may result in a different punishment from an Admin.*
