This is a discussion on Paypal Verifying service within the Dispute Forum forums, part of the General category; well, i need a paypal verify ^^
if your service is still on going, please PM me ^^...
Are you dense? You may or may not be using your own real information, but you are using that information to fraudulently activate PayPal accounts for other users, who are thus using fake information. This process is put in place for security measures, and required information by the government for PayPal to allow you to exchange currency. You are directly circumventing that security check, illegally.
If you really think there isn't a problem, give me your main PayPal address and I'll gladly report it for fraudulent activity.
This is like saying "I'm going to report you to nexon for hacking". Gamekiller.net itself is illegal and if you cant understand this concept, then you should leave and become part of Christians anonymous.
On a side note: Unless this person is providing fake bank account info, credit card #'s, or names... there is nothing illegal with what he is doing. It is legal to have someone help set up an account for you if you give them permission OR if you are a parent/guardian of the minor.
In no way did he ever say he was using fake information, nor anything else incriminating of the matter. If paypal saw his thread, they would look past it because they do not have any evidence relating to the matter of him committing fraud.
Let the guy have this service. It's benificial to the community and it's NOT illegal. Paypal supports the website (netspend) he is using to verify the paypal accounts. If paypal did not support netspend, then they would not be verifying the fucking accounts in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now if you try and argue that it is illegal on netspend... read the TOS: [Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...] It clearly states allowing others to access/make/use their account is legal as long as you have their permission.

No, not at all. It is different here. He claimed what he is doing is not illegal. My belief at the time was that he was either: promoting fake information and/or signing up for the account(s) himself.

Sure, you can give someone permission if you're over 18 (confirm?) to apply to such a service, but at that point, why not just get your parent/legal guardian to do it? On a side note, the legal guardian cannot give consent to that for the child if it is not legally their child.

I had originally assumed, and he has yet to confirm otherwise directly, that he was not signing up for the services himself and/or promoting fake information to bypass laws. As for fraud, as I said, that only applies if he himself is signing up or promoting the use of fake information, however, in that case specifically, he is not the one committing fraud.

Of course PayPal supports NetSpend. There's nothing illegal about it, only a looser system where one does not have to verify their identity by supplying a Social Security Number (SSN.)

Again, this all started because DietPills said what he is doing is not illegal. I assured him that if he a) signed up for the services himself or b) promoted fake information to bypass laws, that what he is doing is indeed illegal. If he can provide that that is not what he had planned to do nor is what he will do in the future, then this argument can come to an end (at least for me.)

and if it is Illigal than its a harmless crime
Harmless crime makes it right not. And please, do say now, what it is you plan to do. Assist someone, over the age of 18, in signing up for PayPal and NetSpend and verifying their account on PayPal via NetSpend, without ever touching the accounts yourself?
If that is the case, and if only that be the case, then I find no problem. If that is wrong, please specify specifically exactly what it is you are doing. You have been dodging giving a clear direct answer to me. And you're rebuttal of "it's a harmless crime," simply does not apply, as I said before, I'm only interested in correcting you. Admit your actions are illegal, have illegal intent, or that you are promoting illegal actions or refute my statements.
Are you or are you not either yourself or instructing others to, while not themselves in the legal position, to apply for a bank and PayPal account and verify it?
Your answer, please. Confirm or refute anything I have said rather than ignore me.
It's not illegal to help someone sign up and get verified........ regardless of age it does not matter, as long as you have consent. It would only be illegal if he provided false information from the way he is verifying the accounts. The information he is providing is accurate, correct, and given to him by the person who wants their account verified.

I did not say it is illegal to help someone, but DietPills has yet to confirm his specific actions. And DietPills should not at all need any information from his client if he is only assisting said person in applying for these services in a proper manner.
And age is an issue. Not all banks allow persons of any age to sign up, and most importantly, PayPal has a required age of 18 for signing up. DietPills, I very well doubt, is 18 or older. Thus, if DietPill were to sign up with the information, regardless of having proper consent from the client who is 18 or older or the client's parents should that person be under age, it is illegal. Now, if he is indeed only assisting this person, there is still a problem. His clients are not likely to be 18 or older, and thus cannot legally hold a PayPal account. I should also mention that banking laws are also in place, but I do not know of the proper age restrictions internationally or in the United States, but I am fairly certain it requires the consent of a parent or legal parental guardian.
Regardless of that, signing up for PayPal under the age of 18 is against their terms of service and thus your account is deemed fraudulent as PayPal is required by the government to ensure all information provided is factual. That is also the point in verifying the account via a bank. NetSpend does not require a SSN, and thus does not require the person's age, birthdate, or other information to be confirmed in order to open a workable bank account, however, it does not become fully functional until a card is verified and a valid SSN is given.
I deem the sole motivation in opening a bank account with NetSpend and using it to verify a PayPal account, and thus DietPills' service, is to signup for PayPal and have the account verified illegally. A simple, "it's not illegal," is much too little. I need your motivation for this specific trade of yours. Especially in a community driven by those who are more than likely under the age of 18. Could it be age? Identity? Or even nationality? Or something else?
To a different point, you don't understand something. I really care not for the legality of this situation. It is DietPills who has caught my attention in saying that his actions are not illegal. That is my problem here. Until he can confirm that he is not at all allowing, information, assisting, or otherwise knowingly enabling others to circumvent the law, I will not rest my case.
DietPills stated that his actions are not illegal and I assured him they were.
I would like this to to unfold as either or: I am correct, or I am dreadfully wrong.
Please, DietPills. Do speak now. What is it that you are doing, that you are so confident there is no malicious illegal intent behind? A harmless crime I do agree, but a crime it may yet still stand to be.
So please, DietPills, confirm or refute as soon as well-good possible for you. I am very interested in your reply.
k.Wasser why does this matter to you? Is his service affecting you in any way? Are you ill, Dying? He is merely helping members get there account verified. Just leave him alone What do you gain from this?
