Thread: My Guide to Absolutely Dominating in MW2 Free-For-All

Well if you're like me, and don't have friends who aren't constantly on all the time, you might have to play by yourself. This can suck in team based games like domination that are constantly played by clans and friends who actually cooperate. In other words, you get terrible teammates. This is where free-for-all comes in. There is no team. No teamwork. Just you vs everyone else. Let's start

Weapons:
This is totally up to your preference. In my opinion, I find the M16A3 a very good gun to use, and takes 2 shots to kill with stopping power. It's a burst gun, so it saves me some ammo.

2ndary Weapons:
Personal preference. If you don't know what to choose, I just would like to tell you that I personally use Akimbo Rangers.

Attachments:
A more important aspect. The first mandatory attachments is the silencer without a doubt. When you play Free For All, the only way to see someone on your radar is if they fire or you get UAV. Silencers elminate the problem of people rushing to your area as soon as you get a kill. Sure it decreases range, but it is worth it.
Next, personally, I find that it's very useful to use Heartbeat Sensor.
It helps prevent those moments when you get surprised to the point that your reaction is slowed down, getting you killed.
The whole point of these attachments is to Know where the enemy is, and they are unknowing of where you are

Equipment and Special Grenades:
Equipment is definitely up to your choice. I would recommend the Semtex over the Frag Greande, but that's just personal preference. Also, claymores could be a good choice when you're in a camping spot or similar.
Special Grenades can be anything. I do not use them that often.

Perks:

Tier 1/Blue
Bling OR Sleight of Hand OR Scavenger
Bling is used so I can have both the heartbeat sensor and the silencer.
Sleight of Hand is good, but I would not recommend it unless you have Sleight of Hand PRO, which decreases the time to ADS to half.
Scavenger is more useful for guns like the Scar that run out of ammo fast. I do not use it because I personally don't need it, and if I run out of ammo, I just find another gun and pick it up.

Tier 2/Red
Stopping Power
Self Explanatory

Tier 3/Green
Ninja Pro
Seems a bit hypocritical doesn't it? :3
Seriously. Ninja is great. Heartbeat Sensors won't ever detect you. Also, Ninja Pro is makes it amazing. With Ninja Pro, it reduces your footsteps to 25%, making them practically silent.

Killstreaks
Couple of recommendations:
3 UAV, 4 Care Package 5 Predator Missle/ Sentry Gun
This is a killstreak that is simple for getting small kill streaks. This is your basic stuff, and I recommend you try it out if you aren't getting those 11 kill streaks that easily.

4 Care Package 7 Harrier Strike 8 Emergency Airdrop
I personally use this.
Care packages are always fun. And air in a free for all game is amazing.
And emergency airdrops attract enemies like a bear to honey. Expect to get great things with it, and a lot of kills.

5 Predator Missile 7 Harrier Strike 11 Chopper Gunner/AC130
This is the killstreaks that are mainly for getting kills like crazy. I don't use this because I don't get a Chopper Gunner every single game, or a harrier strike.
