Su um I'm learning C++ and I have a question, what are pointers and offsets, and what is hooking, I heard pointers are like the location of a specific value, so what are offsets and hooks?

Pointers point to the address of what stores something. Offsets are... You add an offset to a pointer.

Hooking is where you redirect a function so that you can edit part of it before returning it.
