8th one down seems like it was shot from a higher caliper compared to the others. Nice job. There's a few sigs that I see which could have had their renders flow/blend into the rest of the piece more though. I like your general style though.

Try to use text that flows more. Also, put the text closer to the focal.

OK here are some tips and stuff.

You should get rid of the borders. Why? They don't add anything to the tag. If anything, the black or white coming from a border ruins the tag's atmosphere. For example, if the darkest value in your tag is a grey as in

, it looks weird if you have a black border.

Avoid typography for now. I don't think the text is very well executed in most places, and having words on your tag isn't very essential most of the time. If you feel like a piece is too empty without text, that probably means that you can add more details to fill in the blanks.

I think what you could work on first to really improve your tags is to focus on improving image quality. I think your overuse of Sharpen/Blur really kills the quality by adding jagged edges all over the place along with blurs. Try to keep the lines as crisp as possible all while reducing the amount of jagged lines. I don't think you really need to use blur at all either, unless you're going for that intentional tilt shift effect.

Your lighting isn't exactly top notch either. In a lot of these tags, you seem to be using Burn on highlights or otherwise making everything dark for no specific reason. It might be that you're adding these particle effects in the foreground on Linear Dodge and stuff, but you're putting them at like 40% opacity. It kinda looks weird. Also, your render should reflect the light sources that you put onto the tag. Don't add a random soft brush on Linear Dodge to light your tag up (it's okay when you're first starting but it doesn't look very good). Try instead to use various soft brushes at different opacities on Normal or Linear Dodge to try to make more natural lighting. Someone who did this very well in the style you're attempting in the last tag was

. He also has great typo. If you're still having trouble with this, I suggest you look up a couple LRO PSD packs to try to learn how.

The monochromatic color schemes you always use get kinda boring as well. Learn a bit of color theory and don't be afraid to experiment with different color combinations. Your last tag is definitely a great start at adding more colors and is definitely my favorite tag out of the bunch.

Last but not least, if you plan on making smudge tags, make sure that you add more details in the smudge and create a better flow. The smudge you have now is pretty boring and doesn't really have highlights or shadows. Try using Divide/Linear Dodge/Overlay to create more contrast.
