I doubt you'll ever find a free vps... You can probably get a really low-end box for around $5 but that will be maybe barely enough to host a high-content website... I'm not sure what you can expect from a free vps but goodluck anyways.

You won't find any free VPS.
I know a site that that charges around 10$-15$. It's not expensive compared to others.

Exactly. I have 2 laptops, 2 netbooks, and 3 PCs in my house. You might be able to use your own computers for those needs

I would like to know this too, considering I'm looking to host a minecraft server. Would it be possible to host one and play it on the same computer, at the same time?

Processor & Memory:

Intel® Core™ i3-370M Processor 2.4Ghz
3MB L3 Cache
6GB DDR3 SDRAM (2 DIMMs)

OT: Based on above posts, you might just have to pay like 15 bucks a month for one.

I do too.

It costs $10 a month for a decent VPS (4GB RAM, 4 cores @ 2.8GHz ea)? Or, you can grab a VPS with a 20GHz processor, 17.5GB RAM etc. for about $20 a month.

That's $2.50 a week. Come on, you spend more on taxes, food, coffee or what not.

They call it Server Hosting, and it can host popular game server such as Counter Strike and Minecraft.

VPS hosting in means of hosting basic games like maplestory , no there is no such thing around.

I don't think any are free, if they are they probably have limits.
