Can someone give me a link to a tutorial on making an up to date private server?

There is no such thing as a tutorial, and you would need a whole team of professional coders (or one really great coder), and alot of time to create an up to date private server.

not exactly true. You can create a Private server with excisting sources. You will have the default stuff like warper, job advancers, Skill maxers etc. Wich version are you planning on making ?

True but keeping it up to date would be a slight problem if you don't have a team of coders, and those NPCs are coded, they aren't default. They just are basic NPCs that are easily coded. And I'm creating a v.83 ATM.

Ah cool. But tbh, NPC scripting is fairly easy. anyone with a bit of patience can do it from my point of view, i could be mistaking because i am a programmer already. but when i started the NPC scripting i found it very easy, as long as you are willing to spend time.
