Introduction:
This thread is here to emphasize how important it is to use a middleman no matter who it is you are trading with. No matter how trusted the person is on the forum or well known.... a middleman should always be used. The official middleman list is situated at the bottom of this page. Even when doing a trade with a mod it is strictly advised to use a middleman.

The only official middlemen are Members that are on the list below.

What is a Middle Man (MM)?
A Middle Man (MM) is a person that acts in between the trade. Traders give in the goods being traded to the Middle Man and the Middle Man verifies the authenticity of the goods and when it is authentic, he will forward it to the traders.

Oh I see, So how does this work?
For a MM trade to work an Instant Messenger of some type is needed. The MM will get the goods from you and from the person your trading with, and change the info. Then the MM will give all goods that was given to them that they changed.... to you.

For NX Cash for Account trades, info will be changed and Nx charged at the same time. Then everyone will be happy.

Precautions!
Be sure you have the correct email address of the middle man when trading (some people create fake emails to impersonate MM!). You can also double check and make sure that it is the actual MM by asking him to PM you on GK itself.

Be Nice.
Be nice to moderators, super moderators and administrators because they didn't scam you. If you can, give them a thanks. They are doing this free of charge and expect nothing in return except your satisfaction. Although some middleman may charge, if you do not want to pay then just kindly say No to them and find another available one. Patience is also needed for trading as the mod has to cover all possible angles and be sure its impossible for you to be scammed.
