I think the max time it should take is 11 minutes, that is how long it takes for me when I click it. It all depends on your internet and download speed though. Many different people have different speeds!

hi... for some reason... i dled maplestory.exe and it wuz detected by avg

I am not really surprised. If you can't turn AVG off, then I suggest installing the game from the actual site if you can. It is catching it as a false-positive. AVG is a very protective anti-virus and I don't really like it. I am not sure what to do.

That used to be the case for v79, and v80, i got some mesos, so I have been a little bit more active on MapleStory now. Anyway, are all of the links still working for you guys? I am trying to figure out a way to get the MSSetup.rar onto one Also, I may upload some to mediafire.. the .wz files But.. there is a certain amount you can upload to there!

You can't just download all of these files without installer. Try running the patcher first or something, because I don't see that it will allow you to run it without installing!
