Checklist:
DLL44 form
DRIVER's Ed certification
BIRTH CERTIFICATION or Passport
Traffic knowledge to pass written test.

On the first day, register for a driver Ed program. One that I recommend is driverseddirect.com. They have sufficient resources to make you well educated, but they don't make the tests hard. Second day, if you have finished all your testing, then your certification is on the way. They will send you an e-mail confirmation telling you that processing is in progress.
Third day, wait for shipping.
Fourth day, take the arrived certification and fill out the DLL44 form also included. Bring everything on the checklist to DMV. That's it!
