How to add brushes to Photoshop

    1st Way: How do download brushes to adobe photoshop

    1. Download the set of brushes that you wish to use. This should be saved as a .abr

    2. Open control pannel

    3. Click on the C:

    4. Find your adobe folder

    5. locate the Presets folder with in the adobe folder

    6. then locate the Brushes folder.

    7. Drag and drop your .abr file into the brushes folder.

    2nd Way: How to download brushes to adobe photoshop

    1. Open your search window

    2. Type this in: C:Adobe/Adobe Photoshop CS3/Presets/Brushes

    3. Hit search

    4. Drag your .abr file into the brushes folder.

    Hmm don't forget to add that if you download an .abr brush that is in .zip format move it into
    <Disk>:Adobe/Adobe Photoshop <version>/Presets/Brushes
    Then you will have to open it with photoshop

    And you can also load them while running photoshop.
    Go to the brush tool.
    Then where you should select your brush click the arrow
    and then click load brushes and locate the brushes

    just a note, but this theory pretty much works for downloading any feature to photoshop.

    (IE Custom Shapes, Brushes, Smudge settings, etc..)

    Just google 'Photoshop Brushes' ; You'll get a lot of results, that's how I started off.






    There are some, enjoy.

    Where I find this new brushes?
    I download, copy to good folder.
    But when i start photoshop i have old brushes.

    Press (B) to select brushes, then press (F5) on your Keyboard to open up the brush selections. Then under the (X), you'll see an icon like this:

    Press it, and then you'll see a list of brushe sets. Browse to then one you want to open.
