After deciding to use my iPod again, got it out and waited for it to recharge. I synced it with my own music tried it out. Sadly none of my music played. I then tried to reset my iPod then resync then play my music. It still doesn't sure I've tried different songs too! I've googled this like for hours now and no results. -.-

Does your iPod happen to be jailbroken?

Is the headphone icon there? Because sometimes it doesn't detect that you plugged/un-plugged headphones, so try do that.

Its not that, like when I touch the song. It shifts into the song screen when the song is about the stop, it just shifts back to the selection screen. and this ipod was playing songs. But now it seems to not anymore.

If you still have valid warranty you could always take it to the store where you bought it, and let them fix it.

Update the ipod to the current version/jailbreak it with an untethered instead of tethered

Isn't it better to take it to the store for repair before trying to jailbreak it? o.o

Well I don't even know if he currently has it tethered or not..haha. But usually Apple will just tell you to update to the current version.

I was suggesting a jailbreak because using tethered jailbreaks suck..Always use an untethered.

Oh well, he should try to contact Apple and say it's blood on it, to get another one free. :awe:

Also depends on whether or not he has a warranty still ;) Apple's return policies are retarded

if its jail-broken already just needs to be rebooted with a redsnow, (any other jaibreaker) usually apple will tell you to un jail-break your ipod before they will do anything to it.

Check Volume, If headphones are in, if the jack is broken or the hole (don't know what to call) is not sensing the jack.
