I've been loving the idea of a laptop with an eternal gpu. It keeps the pros of a laptop(probability) and still delivers the performance of a desktop

Desktop if you don't need to carry it around or are moving soon.

as many others have said, if you plan to do gaming with it the only real option is a desktop PC. aside from the ability to upgrade it will also have less heat ware on the parts because of the spacing and ventilation.

I've had lots of success with my Lenovo y510p. It runs most games with ease, and it's already 4 years old. Worth the $750 from when I bought it.

Desktop. Always desktop if you don't need the mobility of a laptop.

Definitely Desktop. Get the labtop if you have to move frequently.
Build a desktop, way bettter than purchasing a completed desktop.

Bruh, for games, doesn't matter if you go online or single player stuff - Desktop!

1# Modularity - if you will need better graphic card - go get it.
2# Price - Yeah, you can go for gaming laptop that'll be as good as a desktop, but have in mind price will be most likely doubled.

That's what i think about it. If you're rich you can go for gaming laptop but these are heavy, fat rigs and i don't see any perks of mobile computer anymore... So just why?

For gaming definitely a desktop , you can get a better one for less money and laptops are just awkward for gaming IMO .

I thought a solution was an AIO desktop , its portable , has battery and big screen .. word of warning .. dont. It has the worst graphic lag i have ever experienced. I have a 10+ yr old desktop that smokes this thing when it comes to games.

Desktop, because it has more gaming power than laptop. I don't think laptops are that strong and besides, their screens are limited to 60hz

The portability of a laptop is nice but if you just wanna play games and not do much else desktop is far better

Desktops are definitely better for gaming and it is easier to customise, but laptops are more mobile.

the only reason you should get a laptop over a desktop is if you ABSOLTELY 100% need the portability. If portability is not an issue, then go with desktop for sure.
